Some readers were quite worried by the total lack of posts on Monday here at Dies Irae.
“Lance!” one reader wrote, “Dude! Dude? I stayed up till midnight waiting. I actually broke my mouse refreshing the page over and over. What gives? Have they come for you too?”
Fear not, dear reader! I am alive and well. I wrote yesterday but did not post to the site. I am trying to drum up some traffic for this site by penning pieces for other, more established sites and shilling this site in the tag line, on hopes their readers will be gullible enough to click the link and thus become our readers. In musician speech, that’s called “cutting heads.”
Anyway, (not “anyways”) I didn’t post the content here because it was catered to other sites’ style books and was offered as exclusive content. Maybe later, if other sites reject the material.
As always, a very warm welcome to new readers. Dies Irae is a daily (sic) chronicle of the Outpouring of God’s Wrath upon the face of the earth, the fate of His enemies and the survival, health, integrity and prosperity of His faithful. It is also a forum for matters of general interest to Christian men. Comments, questions? Send them on! Always glad to hear from you.
Please take a moment to smash that subscribe button, as they used to say over on YouTube, back in the day. Subscriptions are FREE because I have not produced any paid content. That will change. Tips are, naturally, welcome, but no pressure. I believe we are building something here and let me say for the record, I LOVE SUBSTACK. Awesome platform. We’re even looking into podcasting from the platform and some other exciting stuff. No announcement yet, but this stuff is in the hopper. So, again, welcome.
